The surroundings of Avila offer infinite possibilities to get to know the countryside and the traditional style of life of the people of the land.

 

More than 30 tourist routes exist with themes such as the route of the kings, of wine, of painters, of castles or if you still prefer something different, you could follow the path of the musicians, the chocolateers or the comedians.

The ruins and deserted areas of Raso, the lake of Barraco, where you can rent canoes, the castles of Villaviciosa and Sotalbo, of Narros, Mombeltrán, ..., the picturesque landscapes of Ojos Albos with its paintings from the Stone Age, the Sierra of Avila, and much more.
